Wavefront by VMware is a next-generation SaaS solution for unified cloud monitoring with real-time analytics. Wavefront is rapidly redefining cloud monitoring with a massively scalable approach pioneered at Google and refined at Twitter that involves real-time processing of high-frequency system measurements.

We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join our sales team as a Sales Development Representative. You should be eager to advance in our organization by demonstrating your ability to be a tenacious self-starter every day.
You will be responsible for driving market share and qualifying leads that build pipeline for the field sales organization. The Sales Development Representative role will provide the knowledge and skills required for a natural progression into our full sales cycle.
- Cold calling and uncovering opportunities to sell Wavefront solutions
- Contacting qualified prospects through email touches and phone conversations
- Providing baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call using LinkedIn, CrunchBase, RainKing, ZoomInfo and other sources
- Quickly understanding the benefits and capabilities of Wavefront
- Actively staying on top of company product, competition, and market knowledge
- Meeting or exceeding goals for qualified leads
- 4-year Bachelor's degree required
- Consistent track record of success
- Ability to work in a high-energy, dynamic sales team environment
- Strong drive to navigate large, complex organizations to set meetings
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience using Salesforce is a plus
- 1+ years of inbound or outbound phone/email sales is a plus
