The Partner Development Manager (PDM) is responsible for scaling customer success with partners to strategically engage with a named list of VMware partners to help them build and sustain capable VMware practices, alongside increasing Multi-Cloud/Hybrid-Cloud solution adoption, deployments and consumption by customers. This person will act as a trusted advisor for the partners he will manage, focusing on winning the hearts and minds of partners Executives and teams to positively influence capacity, capability, promotion and deployment of VMware solutions.
The Partner Development Manager is required to have strong sales and technical knowledge of VMware technology and offering. She/He must have the ability to build actionable relationships with the partners’ sales and technical leaders, especially with pre-sales, delivery and post sales departments. The PDM will engage with the partner and will be responsible for building and executing a practice development plan, including adapted enablement planning, accelerating accreditations & certifications, and tracking deployments & consumption of VMware solutions at customers. The Partner Development Manager will be instrumental to support partners in developing best in class consulting and deployment practices, to help their customers in their digital transformation, Multi-Cloud and Hybrid IT journey.
