By joining the wider Benelux Sales organisation as a the DESAT Field Account Executive you will play a major role by looking after Dell Technologies who is one of our key strategic partners in the industry. You will significantly contribute to the teams wider company goals.

There are multiple routes to market, including Dell as Value Added Reseller, Dell as Global Technology Alliance and Dell as distributor. VMware actively teams with Dell to drive synergies and to leverage joint solutions to fit customer needs. In co-sell a range of technologies, Like HCI, NSX, Cloud Management, Digital Workspace and hybrid Cloud, we help our customers to transform their IT, their workforce, their application landscape and enable a Secure Enterprise.

Job Description

This role is responsible for business development and the strategic interface between VMware and Dell. As Field Account Executive you define the partnership strategy and framework for engagement around key activities in joint solutions development, engineering, marketing, services development, and revenue driven go-to-market

Location: Belgium, Luxembourg and Netherlands

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing executive relationships and securing buy-in for joint initiatives
  • Create and implement actions plans for Benelux countries
  • Be operationally excellent in the day-to-day running of the business including (but not limited to) forecasting, pipeline development, collaboration, teamwork, and best practice sharing
  • Conduct Quarterly one-on-one review with respective Country/Regional leaders of both companies to agree on key joint objectives, action plan, and provide insights on the needs
  • Accountable for the performance and growth of the VMware business in the Dell EMC EMEA in Benelux
  • Achieve quota targets for the region under her/his responsibility
  • Build consolidated reporting to measure and track revenue and provide management with analysis and corrective actions proposals where needed to ensure goal achievement.

Experience Required:

Technical knowledge around Infrastructure & Software Defined Solutions (Compute, Storage, Networking and Mobility) is important

  • Proven sales background and have had a significant quota carrying history with ample evidence of success, she or he must have experience in driving complex sales through the channel as well as have excellent knowledge of the aforesaid market and its key customers.
  • Previous work at international software and hardware vendors is an advantage
  • Ability to recognize, analyse, and take action on go to market approaches, Sales and Demand generation program in the context of major partnerships.
  • Cross-functional influence, relationship building, and project management skills toward a broad constituency ranging from customers, channel partners, sales, marketing, and technical management
  • Display the ability to communicate complex topics to an audience who may possess limited functional/technical knowledge
  • Ability to travel min 50% and the region
